Dilemma Files

Every day, one adapted situation, and the real people who once faced a choice like it.

Dilemma Files is coming to the App Store for iPhone.

How it works

Each situation is told as if it were happening to you. You decide first. Then you meet the real people who faced a choice like it, and learn what became of them.

Read the situation, a few lines at a time.

Pick one path. There is no way back — that is the point.

Meet the people who met a decision like it and went different ways. Each one is real: who, where, when, and their fate.

Nothing is scored. The flame counts the days you decided, not how well you chose.

Hindsight is included. Foresight is not.

Where the cases come from

What we publish about the people in each case comes only from published sources: court rulings, official inquiries and parliamentary records, news reports and the people’s own accounts, as they stood when we wrote them.
