Report a problem
In the app: Menu > Settings > Report a problem. It opens a draft in your own mail app with the app version, your iOS version and the last error. You can read and edit it. Nothing is sent until you press send.
About the records
Each situation is adapted for this app, with no names and no dates. The people you meet afterwards are real, and what you read about them comes only from published sources: court rulings, official inquiries and parliamentary records, news reports and the people’s own accounts, as they stood when we wrote them. We never guess what anyone thought or felt. Some cases involve death, abuse and crime. Nothing here is advice. If something is wrong, tell us.
Corrections and objections
The records come from published sources: court rulings, official inquiries and parliamentary records, news reports and the people’s own accounts. If something is wrong, or if it is about you and you object, write to us. We review every request within 7 days. While we check, we may take the case out, and we correct or remove what is wrong.
When you write, please include:
- the case title (the "Is something in this record wrong? Tell us." link at the foot of each record fills it in for you);
- what is wrong;
- a source, if you have one;
- whether the record is about you.
